Embrace our community

Get involved

We generate and support local projects with the aim of encouraging a vibrant, inclusive and enthusiastic community. We liaise with other groups within the PL24 area and provide information on local issues, amenities, attractions and events for the community as well as for visiting tourists.

We produce the free, quarterly PL24 Magazine, both online and in print with a circulation of up to 2,500. Find yours in local businesses at the beginning of the month in March, June, September and December.

We run an active, public Facebook group for everyone to contribute, ask and inform. It covers everything from events to major road closures, via mis-delivered packages!

We have another Facebook page, below, about the activites of the Community Association itself.

Anyone can engage with our Association. There are lots of opportunities to contribute in whatever way you choose. For example:

• Help us lobby for positive change, such as improving footpaths

• Put your practical skills to use: sewing, repairing, painting or gardening - we plant and maintain trees, shrubs and flowers

• Lend us a hand with the magazine; taking photos, proofreading and delivering it

• Simply come to one of our community events

Our members and committee are a group of people dedicated to making PL24 a great place to live. If you want to become a member and receive regular updates on what’s happening, there's no cost. Just get in touch.
